RoofPriceGuide publishes informational price ranges produced by a documented calculation engine from the inputs you supply and from published pricing assumptions. A range is a research output, not an offer, a bid, a quotation or a price you are entitled to from any contractor.

Actual contractor pricing varies with site conditions found only after tear-off, deck condition, local permit and disposal rules, material availability, crew scheduling, warranty level, insurance coverage and ordinary market movement. A quote outside our range is not automatically wrong or unfair — it may reflect scope, quality or conditions the calculator cannot see.

Before hiring anyone, confirm the written scope of work, licensing and insurance where your jurisdiction requires them, warranty terms, payment schedule and change-order policy. Use our quote checklist as a starting point. Decisions you make remain your own.

Pricing assumptions are published openly along with their verification status. Where an assumption has not yet been source-verified, the estimate is labeled as a research-preview figure. We correct assumptions as verified data is reviewed and promoted; we do not warrant that any figure is current, complete or fit for a particular purpose.

The calculator, quote checker and guides are free and work without an email address. If you ask us to email a result or the checklist, you are asking for one specific transactional message containing the information you requested; we send it to the address you entered and nowhere else. The optional marketing checkbox is separate and unticked by default, and declining it never affects the report you asked for. You can ask us to stop emailing you or to delete your record at any time. Requests are rate-limited and the message content is fixed by us — the form cannot be used to send arbitrary mail to other people.

You may use this site for personal, non-commercial evaluation of roofing prices. Please do not scrape it at scale, republish our ranges as your own pricing data, or present our output to a homeowner or client as a bid.

The site is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, RoofPriceGuide is not liable for losses arising from reliance on an estimate, a comparison band or any content here. If you need a committed price, get written quotes from licensed contractors.
